This document is an application to join the HLPE Resilience Writing Team, outlining expertise and motivation to contribute to global work on food systems resilience.

It highlights experience working on issues related to food security, nutrition, and governance, particularly in fragile and conflict-affected contexts. The application emphasises a strong interest in strengthening the evidence base around resilience, with a focus on how communities—especially vulnerable groups such as pregnant women and children—are affected by shocks and long-term instability.

A key theme is the importance of integrating local knowledge and lived experience into global policy processes. It also stresses the need for more inclusive, practical, and action-oriented research that can inform better decision-making within the Committee on World Food Security (CFS) and related platforms.

The application reflects a commitment to advancing resilient food systems through evidence-based policy engagement and stronger consideration of equity, vulnerability, and community-led solutions.
