Jumping out of a plane for Mothers First Thursday 18th of August
About:
Bridgit is literally Jumping out of a plane to support the amazing work of Mother First. Every 10 Euro will provide of food basket including Iron and Folic Acid to 1 pregnant mother for 1 month. This intervention will result in her baby being born better nourished, stronger and better prepared for the life they are about to begin. It is not rocket science, it is just what we do.

Barefoot Hike for Hunger on World Food Day 16th October 2021
About:
As a mark of solidarity with the furthest behind in our food systems, Pat Mc Mahon climbed Irelands highest mountain barefoot to mark World Food Day on the 16th of October. In what was an amazing journey of bravery, pain and endurance. The first short video documents the emotional journey.
He did so to highlight the escalating hunger crisis in our world. In the second video, he concisely outlines the state of extreme hunger in our world right now and the lack of a humanitarian response to the crisis.
The third video is a 2-minute extract from an address given by David Beasley, head of the World Food Program in July. It will shock and sadden you and I hope with your help bring us closer to ending hunger

About: Global hunger has been on the rise for the past 5 years. As a mark of solidarity with the furthest behind in our food systems, Pat Mc Mahon will attempt to climb Irelands highest mountain barefoot to mark World Food Day on the 16th of October.

This event is not about a single person summiting Irelands highest mountain barefoot.
It is about people who are experiencing extreme and Catastrophic levels of hunger.
It is my call to you to end hunger in our world. If you decide the world will follow you.
