Is your baby or toddler bouncing off the walls and in desperate need of some socialization? Are you, yourself, desperate for some adult interaction? Do you need to get out of the house and have both you and your child (or children) spend some time with other moms and kids? Then, consider joining a Mothers First playgroup.
If you are not currently involved in a playgroup, there is no time like the present to consider joining one. We try to pair you up with other children within about six months of your child’s age and we keep the groups to a reasonable size. Generally, most groups meet every other week for an hour or two. The meeting place usually rotates among members’ homes, but most details are left up to the individual group. This is a great opportunity to socialize with other moms and expose your child (or children) to the fine art of playing nice with others and sharing!
