Alana M. - Alana lives in St. Charles with her husband Danny and daughter Elizabeth (8/17/08). They are expecting baby #2 in May 2010. Alana is a stay at home mom and is interested in scrapbooking, crafts and exercise. Alana will be on the General Meetings committee.
In Case of Cancellations
Sometimes things happen and events need to be cancelled. While those planning events will make every effort to give notice as soon as possible, we appreciate your understanding if an event is canceled or relocated at the last minute (certain things can’t be foreseen 24 hours ahead of time). In the event of a cancelation, all of those who RSVP’ed yes or maybe to an evite would be called by the event's planner, Jodi M. or Sharon K. (please call one of us if you are planning the event and need to cancel it). In order to make this system work, we need your help! Please make sure we have your cell phone numbers on file by emailing Melanie A. our membership chair. We won’t list them in the directory if you don’t want them in there, and they will only be used to contact you regarding an event cancellation if we can’t reach you at your home number. Thanks for your help and understanding!
Evite Make Invites Easier
Planning an upcoming Mothers First event? Did you know we have a Mothers First general Evite account?The Mothers First Evite account is a great tool to keep our planning more simple and streamlined this year. It contains all current member and prospective member names and e-mail addresses. It takes the guesswork of out having to remember who to include on future Evites.
Committee chairs for the Mom and Tots, Moms Time Out, General Meeting and Special Events committees will have access to this exclusive account so if you are planning an event, please be sure to contact your committee chair for their assistance in creating the Evite. If your committee chair is not available, please contact Sharon K. (see member directory for contact details).
Members Directory
We will be including an updated directory and membership listing with each monthly newsletter distribution. We hope that this will help everyone maintain updated and accurate records. If any of your information changes during the year, please send your updates to Allison L. (see member directory for contact details).
Baby News
If you have recently welcomed a new addition to your family, we would love to hear about it! Please e-mail Laura C. (see member directory for email address) with your baby’s name, birth date, birth stats, proud family information and anything else you would like to share. We will be happy to include an announcement about your new bundle of joy in the upcoming newsletter.
